4-stroke engine

A 4 stroke engine is an internal combustion (IC) engine in which the piston accomplishes 4 independent strokes while rotating the crankshaft. A stroke is the whole travel of the piston along the cylinder in either direction.  whereas, these  strokes are termed as intake, compression, combustion and exhaust strokes.
